As a member of the faculty in the Department of Architecture at the University of Johannesburg, I lectured in Design Writing and Sustainable Design Practices. Students explored sustainable development as an integrated, three-tiered system comprised of environment, economy, and equity. Included in that investigation was the prototyping of life-cycle conscientious building techniques including waddle & daub and mud-brick construction elements.
