In 2016, New Orleans Artist Brandan BMike Odums established StudioBE, a 36,000- square foot gallery and final part of the “BE Trilogy.” Since then, StudioBE has developed itself as a landmark and cultural destination in New Orleans, working with partners like the NAACP, Nike, Ben & Jerry's, Color of Change, XQ Schools, and many others.
A product of alchemy, a space for artists and the things they create. A space for the local community and the culture that comes from it. Through intentional programming, workshops, exhibitions, and resource allocation, StudioBE's mission is rooted in the belief that the blueprint for a better tomorrow lives in the collective imagination. Our work promotes artists' advancement and engages in society's most urgent questions.
In 2019, Taylor joined the StudioBE team as a graphic designer and impact strategist. A year later, Taylor began a three-year contract as Chief Transformation Officer as StudioBE formed Eternal Seeds, a nonprofit organization that serves artists and culture bearers in New Orleans. Eternal Seeds provides young and emerging artists the tools they need to become the revolutionary leaders and shapers of a more just and equitable world. We do this through our three-part programmatic model: Inspire, Educate, and Empower. To learn more about Eternal Seeds and the future of StudioBE visit www.eternalseeds.com.
